Covid Re-Bookings and Beyond
Herewith our latest Zim travel update:
What is the situation in Zim right now?
Covid infections are back to low, slow-burn levels in Zim and South Africa, similar to the situation prevailing before the January 2nd wave. Air access is being promoted as preferred and manageable route for inbound tourism (negative PCR test <48hrs prior to travel). Zim land borders remain closed to all but comercial travelto prevent influx of diaspora who brought in the second wave. Our team have received doses of Sinovac very efficiently in Harare and vaccine is currently freely available to all over 18s here. All looking good and confident that risk will be manageable for travel this Safari season as we speak but we are wary of a 3rd wave. We expect land borders to remain closed untill Gov’t asess the risk of a 3rd wave has passed.

We are working very closely with Zimparks to try get every one of our clients the sites they want, or as good as possible alternatives.2
